I See the Light

My gaze, fixated, my focus, beyond the stars in the heavens, 

I can’t but bow in awe of His Majesty, a sign of my reverence

I take a look around, everything speaks of His glory,

And yet He sits, thinks & waits, on what He can do for me 

If you’re confused, or don’t know, I’m talking about My Father & My Best Friend, 

His name is Jesus Christ, He’s the beginning & the end 

To Him alone I look to, & Him alone I trust,

I dial His number daily, Father-son convos are always a must

Is it true that a man born of a woman is full of nothing but problems? 

Whether true or not, I know with God, I’ll always solve em 

In this time of lack, I remember Jehovah Jireh, My Provider,

I trust He’ll come through for me, He’s always been my realest rider 

I’m reminded that troubles don’t last, so I fight the good fight 

And just like that it’s almost over, I look over, & finally, I see the Light
